<p>It&#8217;s Sunday!  This is the day I spend prepping food for the week, laundry and budgeting.</p>
<p><strong>Breakfast:</strong> Wheat toast with almond butter/coffee</p>
<p><strong>AM Snack:</strong> None</p>
<p><strong>Lunch:</strong> <em>Vietnamese Pork Sandwich with veggies<em> / water</em></em></p>
<p><strong>PM Snack: </strong>handful of cashews / string cheese<strong><br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>Dinner:</strong> My sweetie made Caldo (A Mexican Chicken &amp; Veggie Soup). So yummy!</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the recipe we found.  He said it was so easy.</p>

</strong><strong>Today’s Exercise:</strong> Played in the pool with my kids<strong><br />

<p><strong>Total Exercise Time:</strong> 60 minutes</p>
<p><strong>My Rest:<br />
</strong>Last Night I went to bed at: 11:30pm  I had trouble getting to sleep: NO</p>
<p>I was able to finally get myself to sleep by: in the dark</p>
<p>I woke up today at: 7:300am  My sleep was interrupted zero times.</p>
<p>I had a total of  8  hours of sleep.</p>
<p>Today I took time to relax at least 10 minutes: YES   Total time relaxed: 120 min</p>
<p><strong>I relaxed by:</strong> Watching a movie</p>
<p><strong>Nesting Time:</strong> Yes, 30 minutes.</p>
<p><strong>Journal Entry Made:</strong> Yes</p>
<p><strong>My Mood:<br />

<p>I’m here!  Whew!!  Life is going so fast and this post has been  chopped off my list.  I know so many Peeps love keeping up with me and  seeing I am just like you.  So here it goes, back on the horse <img src="http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /></p>

<p><strong>AM Snack:</strong> 15 salt and pepper cashews / 1 String Cheese / Water</p>
<p><strong>Lunch:</strong> Leftover Chicken Parmesean with clean sauce &amp; goat cheese / chopped veggies with red vinegar &amp; olive oil/  Water</p>
<p><strong>PM Snack:</strong> Grapefruit</p>
<p><strong>Dinner:</strong> Chicken Gumbo with okra, tomatoes,onion, bell pepper &amp; brown rice / Tea &#8211; unsweet</p>
<p><strong>Late Snack:</strong> Water <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>I love the 4th being on Sunday.  This was a great day to kick back and enjoy the day.  I stocked my kitchen full of great food for the next two weeks.  All meals are planned.  Dinner is on auto-pilot.</p>
<p><strong>My Healing Journal for today is:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Breakfast:</strong> Warm oatmeal with a little brown sugar / coffee</p>
<p><strong>AM Snack:</strong> None</p>
<p><strong>Lunch:</strong> Pablano Soup /  Water</p>
<p><strong>PM Snack:</strong> None</p>
<p><strong>Dinner:</strong> Tomato Soup / Tea</p>
<p><strong>Late Snack:</strong> Vanilla Ice Cream</p>
<p><strong>Water:</strong> 90 Oz.</p>
<p><strong>Other Liquid:</strong> 1cup of coffee</p>
<p><strong>Vitamins/Supplements:</strong> Multi x 3 / Fish Oil x 2 / Jigsaw Mg x2 / B complex / Vitamin D3 x 2</p>
<p><strong>My Fitness:<br />
</strong><br />
<strong>Today’s Exercise:</strong> No working out for a few days because of my teeth.  Took a casual walk around my neighborhood</p>
<p><strong>Total Exercise Time:</strong> 30 min.</p>
<p><strong>My Rest:<br />
</strong>Last Night I went to bed at: 11:30pm  I had trouble getting to sleep: NO</p>
<p>I was able to finally get myself to sleep by: TV with captions</p>
<p>I woke up today at: 7:300am  My sleep was interrupted zero times.</p>
<p>I had a total of  8  hours of sleep.</p>
<p>Today I took time to relax at least 10 minutes: YES   Total time relaxed: 60 min</p>
<p><strong>I relaxed by:</strong> Playing with the kids and listening to podcasts</p>
<p><strong>Nesting Time:</strong> Yes, 60 minutes.</p>
<p><strong>Journal Entry Made:</strong> Yes</p>

<p>Happy 4th of July!  We are spending the day as a family and visiting a few friends.</p>
<p><strong>My Healing Journal for today is:</strong></p>

<p><strong>Lunch:</strong> My husband took me to get mexican (my favorite).  I can&#8217;t eat still from having my wisdom teeth removed.  So he ordered Guacamole, refried beans, salsa and Queso.  It tasted so good!/ Water</p>
<p><strong>PM Snack:</strong> None</p>
<p><strong>Dinner:</strong> Scrambled Eggs / Tea</p>
<p><strong>Late Snack:</strong> Vanilla Ice Cream</p>
<p><strong>Water:</strong> 90 Oz.</p>

<p>I promised you daily updates and of course this week was the hardest for me.  I had oral surgery to have wisdom teeth removed on Thursday.  The little bit of fear before hand and the recovery after hasn&#8217;t been bad, but I have just felt kinda lazy.  Although maybe that&#8217;s not a terrible thing.  I am grateful to have the chance to give my body and mind a rest.  I am fully recharged and back on track.  Picking up with meal planning (although still eating ice cream <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  ) and back to working on my Love Dare Project.  Glad to be back in full swing, sorry for the delay.</p>

<p><strong>My new  challenge</strong> &#8211; the book <strong>The Love Dare</strong>.  This is a  40 day  challenge to strengthen your marriage.<br />
Today was day 3 &#8211; &#8220;To get a gift for my spouse so he knows I was thinking of him&#8221;<br />
This challenge was a little harder.  I brought home his favorite cookies from the store.  He had a big smile.</p>

</strong>Last Night I went to bed at: 12:30pm  I had trouble getting to  sleep: NO</p>
<p>I was able to finally get myself to sleep by: Dark room</p>
<p>I woke up today at: 7:00am  My sleep was interrupted zero times.</p>
<p>I had a total of  6.5  hours of sleep.</p>
<p>Today I took time to relax at least 10 minutes: YES   Total time  relaxed: 30 min</p>
<p><strong>I relaxed by:</strong> Catching up on some funny TV &amp; reading</p>
<p><strong>Nesting Time:</strong> Yes, 45 minutes.</p>

<p><strong>My Feelings and Struggles today were:</strong> Today was a great day. Lots accomplished and fun with the kiddos.</p>
<p><strong>My new  challenge</strong> &#8211; the book <strong>The Love Dare</strong>.  This is a 40 day  challenge to strengthen your marriage.<br />
Today was day 2 &#8211; &#8220;To be kind to my spouse&#8221;<br />
This challenge wasn&#8217;t too hard.  I am a natural nurturer, so being kind and taking care of him comes pretty naturally. I know these are the easy days. Although it&#8217;s when you are really trying to be kind that thing happen to test your patience.</p>

<p>Today was a fun day with friends.  Started out with lunch with one group, visiting a new baby in the hospital and girl&#8217;s night with more friends.  Great day to just kick back and enjoy lots of laughter.</p>

<p><strong>Lunch:</strong>  Vietnamese Pork Sandwich / Water</p>
<p><strong>PM Snack:</strong> Granola Bar</p>
<p><strong>Dinner:</strong> Chicken Fajita Salad / Coffee / water</p>
<p><strong>Late Snack:</strong>  None</p>
<p><strong>Water:</strong> 90 Oz.</p>
<p><strong>Other Liquid:</strong> 2cup of coffee</p>

<p>I had a total of  8.5  hours of sleep.</p>
<p>Today I took time to relax at least 10 minutes: YES   Total time relaxed: 30 min</p>

Today was day 1 &#8211; &#8220;Not to say anything negative to my spouse&#8221;<br />
This challenge wasn&#8217;t too hard.  I am generally not a complainer, but I did have to watch a few times.  It was a great day.  We seemed to get along really well even with all the scheduling we had today.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>4 Chicken Breast &#8211; I like boneless skinless</p>
<p>1/4 cup All purpose Flour</p>
<p>1 tbsp. Brown Sugar</p>
<p>1 cup Chicken Stock</p>
<p>1 cup Marsala Wine</p>
<p>1 cup Mushrooms</p>
<p>1 Medium Onion</p>
<p>1/2 tsp. Salt</p>
<p>1/2 tsp. Pepper</p>
<p>1/8 Cup of Olive Oil</p>
<p>Mix flour, brown sugar, salt and pepper in a shallow bowl. Place chicken in flour mixture making sure each side is dusted.  Heat olive oil in a skillet &#8211; pan saute chicken until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked.  Remove chicken from skillet.  Add a little more olive oil if needed.  Saute onion and mushrooms until soft.  Add Marsala wine and chicken stock, simmer until reduced.  Add chicken back to skillet and simmer for about 5 minutes to meld flavors.  Serve warm.  Enjoy!</p>
<p>**tip: Don&#8217;t try to flip chicken too early.  If it doesn&#8217;t lift from skillet easily it is not ready.  Should release from pan easily when golden.</p>

<p>It is so hot!  Here in Houston, TX the weather is already 100.  Water bottle and I are even better friends this summer.  Don&#8217;t forget to stay hydrated.</p>

<p>Breakfast: 2 Eggs / whole wheat toast / coffee / Magnesium water</p>
<p>AM Snack: Cheese / 11 almonds</p>
<p>Lunch:  2 pieces of thin crust veggie pizza / Water</p>
<p>PM Snack: Rice Cake with Almond Butter</p>
<p>Dinner: Chicken breast with green salsa, sprinkle of cheese/Salad with lots of veggies/Tea</p>
<p>Late Snack:  Magnesium water with Lime</p>
<p>Water: 90 Oz.</p>
<p>Other Liquid: 1 cup of coffee &amp; 1 glass of tea</p>
<p>Vitamins/Supplements:       Multi x 3 / Fish Oil x 2 / Natural Calm  Mg x2 / B complex / my Neti Pot</p>
<p>My Fitness:<br />
Today’s Exercise:  Wii Fit with the kids</p>
