Amy’s Daily Healing Journal – June 27, 2010

I love Sundays!  It’s a day to get myself prepared for the week ahead.

My Healing Journal for today is:

Breakfast: Whole grain energy bars (found these at costco – going to work next week on my own recipe) / coffee

AM Snack: Sting Cheese / 11 almonds

Lunch: We had Chili Dogs with the kids / Water

PM Snack: Granola Bar

Dinner: 15 Bean Soup / Salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar / water

Late Snack: None

Water: 90 Oz.

Other Liquid: 2cup of coffee

Vitamins/Supplements: Multi x 3 / Fish Oil x 2 / Jigsaw Mg x2 / B complex / Vitamin D3 x 2

My Fitness:

Today’s Exercise: Played Frisbee and ball at the park, we added a little jogging and few exercises while we were there.  Also spent part of the day mowing the lawn and yard work

Total Exercise Time: 120 min

My Rest:
Last Night I went to bed at: 12:30pm  I had trouble getting to sleep: NO

I was able to finally get myself to sleep by: Dark room

I woke up today at: 7:00am  My sleep was interrupted zero times.

I had a total of  6.5  hours of sleep.

Today I took time to relax at least 10 minutes: YES   Total time relaxed: 30 min

I relaxed by: Catching up on some funny TV & reading

Nesting Time: Yes, 45 minutes.

Journal Entry Made: Yes

My Mood:
My Anxiety/Stress Level is 1 2 3 4 5 (circle one— 1 is the least & 5 is the highest)

My Depression Level is 1 2 3 4 5 (circle one— 1 is the least & 5 is the highest)

My Feelings and Struggles today were: Today was a great day. Lots accomplished and fun with the kiddos.

My new challenge – the book The Love Dare.  This is a 40 day challenge to strengthen your marriage.
Today was day 2 – “To be kind to my spouse”
This challenge wasn’t too hard.  I am a natural nurturer, so being kind and taking care of him comes pretty naturally. I know these are the easy days. Although it’s when you are really trying to be kind that thing happen to test your patience.
